Qatar University installs Prysm video wall

Doha 1st February 2014: A 13ft by 8ft Prysm video wall have been installed in College of Business and Economics at Qatar University.

Operating under Laser Phosphor Display (LPD), the video walls will provide the campus with a deeply engaging digital canvas for its meeting hall. An LPD video wall uses 75% less power than legacy projection solutions previously used in an installation of this kind.

It will enable multiple users to interact at the same time through touch, motion sensing and their mobile devices. It can be extensible to more than 100ft wide.

LPD technology uses solid state, ultraviolet lasers to provide good image quality and brightness.

The university will also install identical Prysm video walls in four additional sites during the first half of the year.
